This system, developed on the basis of the richest experience of Jaguar, combined with the latest 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with a supercharged 340 hp and earned a reputation of eight-speed automatic transmission ZF with intelligent Jaguar Stop/Start. The new engine perfectly fits with the AWD system due to its high power density, which provides a quiet confidence and a smooth, steady stroke, regardless of the road surface.

To keep the thrill of driving in the style of Jaguar, the system is more focused on the rear-wheel drive and during 18 months of testing at low temperatures and on a variety of surfaces that have achieved excellent job steering and suspension. Longitudinal engine placement means that Jaguar engineers managed to keep the rear axle as the primary drive, and multi-plate clutch in the transfer case sends torque to the front axle in accordance with the level of grip and the driver.
