At the first half of May Monaco was hosting a special event of the Jaguar cars unique and special Heritage Racing of 2012. One should not think that this was the show of old cars only, as the new and updated ‘works’ also supported this great racing program of luxury sport Jaguar Cars, which had its debut win with a special C-type in the event of Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, the Serie C for roughly Pre-1953 Sports Vehicles Prototypes. This highly prestigious race was fairly won by the racer – Alex Buncombe, who was sitting behind the wheel of the Jaguar Heritage Racing’s model from 1952 the C-type.

The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique is a largely regarded as the biggest jewel on the crown of any historic racing. This was already the 8th running of this great event, which usually occurs around two weeks before the F1 Grand Prix held on the exact same circuit of the streets in the principality. The race winning Jaguar C-type has one of the most interesting histories as its first owner was the one and only Juan Manuel Fangio, who also bought this great vehicle directly from the on-site Jaguar factory.
