Green Light for Jaguar F-Type

There were already some articles on our website about the Jaguar F-Type model, however, not so many people know that this car was in fact a concept in the beginning. It was developed back in 2000 and now it is a consumer car. We just want to present to you how it all happened. President of Tata Motors, Carl-Peter Forster, confirmed that Jaguar has received approval to build a long-awaited F-Type, real rival for Porsche Boxster in 2000.

During an interview with German newspaper Automobilwoche, boss of parent company, Jaguar Land Rover said that the so-called F-Type – spiritual successor of Jaguar E-Type, will form a part of the image of the new model, which will be launched in a series of JLR (Jaguar-LandRover). This is another sports car of the company which will be below XF by a step in the line of the company, and will be replacing the X-Type – so it was said in 2000. As we can see the beauty, elegance and purity of line new model did not loose to the Jaguar, XK.

As for Land Rover, the new Range Rover Evoque has already been presented to the public also back in 2000 along with the concepts from the Jaguar, and it also soon joined the Freelander. Finally, the 2015 scheduled to release a brand new replacement of the iconic Jaguar XF and Jaguar E-type models.
