Jaguar Land Rover introduced the 360 Virtual Urban Windscreen systems, which can improve the visibility of cars. The novelty can project an image on the body pillar of the road, which are hidden by these structural elements of the machine. The system consists of screens, each of the integrated rack vehicle and cameras, which in real time is transmitted to the display image hidden by these structural elements. Racks become transparent automatically, for example, during a rebuild or near the intersection.

Together with screens in the stands and cameras is running the head-up display, which “highlights” surrounding the vehicle road users. Plus, the model of the British automaker in the future will be able to show, for example, fuel prices, the street with the most interesting places and parking congestion. Moreover, the company is developing a feature Follow-MeGhost Car Navigation, which projects the image on the windshield of the car, moving from a given navigation route.

In spring the Jaguar Land Rover group introduced the technology, referred to as “transparent hood.” It consists of a video camera mounted in the grille whose image is transmitted to a large projection screen. This creates the impression that the driver sees the surface under the front wheels through the hood.
