Two New Engines for the Jaguar XF and XJ

Back in the winter months of 2012 year, in all official dealers of Jaguar in Europe they started selling luxury business-class sedan Jaguar XF with two new petrol engines: a 2-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine with supercharging unit and the 3-liter V6 with mechanical supercharger. First of all the sales of the representative of flagship Jaguar XJ are mainly aimed at that one with the 2-liter inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine with supercharging unit.

Engine with a 3-liter V6 with mechanical supercharger is mounted on the Jaguar XJ-all-wheel drive, this model will be available in Europe since end of the February of 2013. The use of a mechanical supercharger and turbocharger, greatly improving the efficiency of the engines due to the high power and torque was also done on the cars.

Unit 340-horsepower 3-liter V6 S/C will be available in the XF and XJ Jaguars. This power unit is based on the same technology as the famous 5-liter V8 from the Jaguar, but exceeding the atmospheric version of almost all indicators. Direct fuel injection, adjustable valve timing and all-aluminum construction, used in the V6, for smooth and softness required for sedans Jaguar, while the engine is economical and environmentally friendly.
