Jaguar Chose to Produce a SUV instead of Crossover

As we know that the Jaguar Company works closely together with the Land Rover Company, it is quite understandable, that the influence of them on each other will be quite big. However, the marketers and developers try to keep those two brands as different as possible and they are and have always been quite successful at that. Thus, once again, the Jaguar Company decides to produce a new SUV instead of the crossover car, which was so much supported by the Land Rover team.

The company has decided not to release Jaguar SUV, as it was reported by the main developers of the company to the media, which were constantly publishing contradicting articles. Instead, a crossover will be launched and most probably will become one of the series for the company. As it was said in an interview with the Australian edition of Car Advice, this is already decided and confirmed by the chief designer Ian Callum of the Jaguar brand.

All the clarifications were first published in the magazine called Autocar, which was citing its own sources. It basically said that the crossover should be a “breakthrough” in the design and engineering company, but even if such a model will receive a “green light”, then it will come on the market not earlier than 2016.
