As we have covered earlier in the articles, Jaguar had the project to produce a crossover instead of the off-roader, even though their main partner company – Land Rover is greatly know in the achievements in the off-roader market. That is mainly the reason, why the company decided to do that way.

Earlier, the head of the Jaguar brand, Adrian Hallmark, said that the project for the British SUV brand “is not a priority, but is not in last place for the company”. The base for this activity was developing for quite a long time and the main need was in the resources, both material and people, as the designers had to work on the completely new concept of the car style for Jaguar.

Currently, Adrian Hallmark, the CEO of Jaguar, assesses the chances of a crossover on the line as 50 to 50, while noting that the issuance of such a model would allow the Jaguar to increase sales in countries such as China, India, Russia and Brazil, reports the auto magazine Motors. However, even though the CEO seems to be not so optimistic about the sales, the fans seem to like that idea very much, mainly because some people are fond of the bigger cars and want to have a very luxury English brand, but Jaguar cars of the previous models are that big in any sense.
