Jubilee concept racing car Jaguar

Jaguar cars have been the winners of the prestigious Le Mans race, and now the brand has decided, apparently, to regain the “racing” glory and presented its new concept car.
Racing Cars Jaguar XJR-9 and XJR-12 in the late 1980s has won the race in Le Mans (Group C). On the 30th anniversary of the last “race” winning brand designer Marc Hostler (Mark Hostler) developed futuristic racing concept, the implementation of which is scheduled for 2020.
Design Concept Jaguar XJR-19 LMP1, special attention is paid to the form in which the car was born clearly impressed by models XJR-9 and XJR-12. Streamlined shape in the concept are combined with chopped rectangular and flat surfaces in acute clearly traces of the legendary “victorious” Jaguars of the past century.

Body Shape concept XJR-19 allows to distribute the air flow around the car in such a way as to provide an effective cooling and higher engine power, increase the clamping force to reduce aerodynamic drag, and optimize braking. The minimalist design of the car is designed to reduce the time and cost of possible repairs and refurbishments cars.

In the Jaguar XJR-19 uses unique materials technology, in particular, structural panels and aerodynamic components of the newest materials. It is expected that by the time when it will go down on the real implementation of the concept, there will be a material capable of holding a charge between two conducting layers of carbon and, accordingly, it will be possible to create a composite battery, abandoning heavy blocks of lithium batteries.
